Since January
1994, members of West Valley ELCA Churches have been working together to
operate the West Valley Lutheran Thrift Shop, a not for profit
corporation.
Since 1994, they
have gifted over $2,600,000.00 to area organizations approved by their all
volunteer Board of Directors.

The Retirement Community Association
of Sun City
The purpose and objectives of this corporation are as follows:

To do anything and everything lawfully necessary to protect the interests
of the residents of Sun City, Arizona in maintaining an adult retirement
community.

To promote legislation and take all other necessary measures to protect
the rights and welfare of retirees.

To promote legislation and take all other necessary measures to provide
lower property taxes on the homes of adult retirees. This in
conformance with the principals established by other states.

To cooperate with and support other organizations of retirees, retirement
community associations and any other organizations whose purposes and
objectives are to provide benefits for adult retirees.

Soroptimist Valley of the Sun,
Inc.
Soroptimist is
an International Organization of over 100,000 executive and professional
women in 90 countries whose goals are to help their communities and people
throughout the world.
The Soroptimist
Valley of the Sun Club members represent the Northwest Valley communities
since 1951, and have contributed over $900,000 through their primary
service projects:
